ah, happy jünglings!
On December 13, we welcomed our first guests to the Castle of Santa Giuda in the Swiss alps... temporarily relocated in the beautiful Garry Weston library of Southwark Cathedral. The butler and the maid managed some "quality time" in between serving the mince pies and preparing to say goodbye forever; the girls drafted the perfect love letter, only to have it torn to pieces by the enraged Contessa; and poor Mario spent the entire evening waiting outside in the snow, as beautiful music (and some not-so-beautiful folk dancing) echoed around the courtyards. This time, at least, there seemed to be a happy ending, but will things work out so neatly again?
